When do we offer our mulch installation service?
We want to make sure that your plants and landscape beds reap all the benefits of a ground cover at the right time of year, which is why we offer our mulch installation service in the spring. In April or May, we will come to your property and install the mulch to prepare your plants and trees for the upcoming growing season. Mulch is also great for soil retention, so adding it in the spring will help your plants stay hydrated during the hotter summer months.

We lay down about 1 inch of mulch since that’s the perfect amount for your plants to reap the benefits without suffocating them.
We recommend replenishing your mulch at least once a year, which we can do annually in the spring.

For that reason, we’ll apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment in your landscape beds to keep weeds from sprouting. Mulch is already great at controlling weeds, but this treatment will provide extra protection to ensure they won’t sprout in your landscape beds and take nutrients from your plants.
Not only do we want your plants to be healthy, but we want your property to look great, too! So, we'll edge the grass around any landscape beds and tree circles that border turf to achieve a clean-cut look. This will create a distinct separation between the lawn and your landscape beds, which will enhance your property’s curb appeal. Once we’re done, we’ll also remove any grass clippings that ended up in the mulch so that everything is neat.
